"We're getting married! Most of you know that our beloved critters have come from local rescues. Supporting rescues and foundations who save lives and work to improve the treatment and care of animals is so important to us. This is why we are asking you to help us do just that and, as a wedding gift to us, make a donation to The Soi Dog Foundation to help them raise the funds they need to secure their land by October. This vital foundation endeavors to save the lives of the dogs and cats who struggle to survive in an area where the level of neglect and abuse is something that just isn't experienced here in North America. Any amount that you can give helps." 

The Soi Dog Foundation is a not for profit that is based in Phuket who thankfully are there to rescue these dogs and give them a better life.  Indeed many of the dogs they rescue are re-homed overseas due to the many tourists that come to Phuket on holidays and understand their plight.

That is why we are asking you to help Soi Dog instead of giving us wedding presents! Soi Dog is in the process ofraising funds to purchase the remainder of the land on which the shelter is located. This land currently houses Soi Dog’s clinic, the puppy and old/weak dog’s runs, as well as other critical facilities. I am asking you to join us to help purchase either 1 meter at $36 or 2 meters of land at $72 (go on, do the 2 metres please...) This is important to us -  Nojjan has a great life with us and maybe we can help some poor street dogs have a better quality of life in Phuket.

The acquisition of this land is critical in sustaining the growth of Soi Dog and continuing their work in helpings the stray and homeless animals of Thailand. I do hope you will take the time and help us in raising enough money to purchase 40 metres of land at the home, that is $1,440 to help Soi Dog. You can do so by helping to "purchase" 1,2,3,4 or even 5 square meters of the land on which the Soi Dog shelter is located, helping the dogs and cats keep their forever home!
