Aged like a fine wine
My personality: Independent, fox-like and fond of adventure.
My story: I was rescued from the local government pound all the way back in May 2018 after Soi Dog staff noticed I was weak and skinny. I struggled to put weight on for a while, and the vets had to run different tests and try different diets to help me with digestion and absorption. These days I’m on a special renal diet to support my kidneys and am doing much better. I’ll need to stay on this diet when I get to my new home to keep me feeling my best.
My needs: I’ve always been a serious kind of dog who likes to have his own way, but age has made me wiser and a lot more carefree. Now I even have the occasional zoomies when the mood takes me. However, I can still be a little stubborn on walks and will try my best to head in the direction I want to, despite protests from newbie volunteers! I take my time warming up to people and appreciate if they let me come to them first, but anyone who’s made the effort to be friends with me gushes about what a super boy I am. I’m a great communicator and will let you know when I’m not comfortable in a situation. All I need is for you to be patient with me until I get to know and trust you.
