Raised in a shelter and ready for a home

My personality: Shy, cautious, apprehensive.

My story: It's been so many years now that I can barely remember my life before Soi Dog. I was brought to the shelter all the way back in May 2017 after someone reported a young pup limping on the streets. I was only four months old at the time and, with no family to care for me, life on the streets was tough. The vets believe I was most likely the victim of a road traffic accident, leaving me with multiple fractures to my right hind leg and pelvis which needed surgery. Now fully recovered and all grown up, I’m finally ready to find a home of my own.

My needs: Ever since I arrived, I've been a tentative girl who tends to stay in the background. With the help of the behaviour team, I’ve come a long way with my confidence, but I still have a hard time trusting strangers and need to build a bond with them before I feel I can venture outside of my comfort zone. With this in mind, I'm looking for an experienced adopter who understands that a shy dog like me will need time to settle in. I’d very much like to know what life outside a shelter has to offer and what it means to be part of a loving family, so please don’t forget me though I’m at the back of the crowd.
