Kimono is a cute boy waiting to find his forever family

My personality: Interested in people but unsure how to proceed, nervous in new situations, will need time and patience while I adjust to my new world.  

My story: I was dumped near a small village in Thailand. No one knows where I came from or what my background is but I had a rope around my neck which had caused a wound to develop. I was very skittish and only approached people to get food. A kind person noticed that the wound was maggot infested and serious so they called Soi Dog foundation for help. A rescue team collected me and took me to the shelter for treatment and care. I recovered well physically but it has taken time for me to learn to trust people. 

My needs: I will need time and patience while I adjust to my forever home. I am keen to be friends but don't know how to take it further. It will help if you have resident dogs who can show me how to behave in a home environment. I am not enthusiastic about walking and I'm insecure and worried about the outside environment. Please will you give me the chance to learn how to be a furry family member?
