I’m Lavorry, and this is my story!
Hello! I’m Lavorry, a lovely, affectionate girl looking for a home.
I was born with malformed hind legs which affects the way I move. The best way to describe it is that, rather than moving each hind leg individually, I bunny hop on both at the same time!
As you can imagine, this made it very tough to survive out on the streets. However, life got even tougher one day when I was hit by a speeding car. Fortunately, Soi Dog rescued me and brought me to the safety of their shelter. I will always bunny hop around, but surgery and physiotherapy have ensured that I’m not in any pain while I do so.
I live in one of the shelter’s special care kennels which were purpose-built for special needs dogs like me. Aside from my short walks, I spend my time here waiting for people to come and visit me as this is always the highlight of my day. I’m a super affectionate girl, and I paw delicately when I want fuss and attention. You can see a cute glimpse of that here!
