You can call me Brownie!

Hello! I’m Lomhaijai, an affectionate senior boy looking for a home.

I know my name is a bit of a mouthful for non-Thai speakers, so you can call me by my other name – Brownie – if you prefer! It’s a nickname I’ve earnt from the colour of my fur.

I arrived at Soi Dog in a sorry state – too weak to stand and skinny to the bone. I also had glaucoma which had slowly impaired my vision and left me blind. As my eyes were only causing me pain, the vets removed them. It might be tempting to feel sorry for me, but there’s no need to! I’m a happy boy, and I get a great deal of enjoyment out of life.

I like to get out of my enclosure and explore the shelter, and everyone says I’m a dream to walk. I just need a little guidance so I don’t bump into any obstacles along the way. I have an affectionate nature and will nuzzle my head into you when I want attention. It’s the cutest thing. I love cuddles, and I particularly enjoy having my fur brushed.
