With a hop, skip and a jump, I could be yours!

Hello! I’m Nuko, a happy, confident and super friendly girl looking for a home.

Soi Dog’s rescue officers brought me to the shelter in 2021 after finding me emaciated and limping on the streets. No one is quite sure what happened, but X-rays showed fractures to my pelvis and tailbone which would point towards a road traffic accident.

The kind and clever vets pulled out all the stops to help me recover. They put my fractured bones back together with a plate and screws and guided me through three months of physiotherapy. I’ll forever be grateful.

Although my ordeal is far behind me now, I still have a scar on my side and a slightly uneven gait which means I hop or skip a little on my left hind leg as I walk sometimes. While we won’t be climbing mountains together, we can still enjoy plenty of lovely walks and play. And don’t tell the vets, but I can still jump sky high! This is something I do out of sheer excitement when I see people.
