No-eyed and bushy-tailed!

Hello! I’m Sapanpla, a confident and characterful girl looking for a home.

I’m part Bangkaew, a breed that originates here in Thailand. Us Bangkaews are known for our thick, fluffy coats and our smart, bold and fiercely loyal nature. However, none of these traits could have protected me from the dangers of the streets.

I was walking along one day when suddenly I was hit by a car. The impact was so violent, it forced both of my eyes out of their sockets. And just like that, my world went dark. I also suffered a dislocated hip and a bruised lung. Soi Dog rushed me to their shelter and gave me the life-saving treatment I needed, including the removal of my eyes which were damaged beyond repair.

Life without my vision was hard at first. But street dogs like me are made of tough stuff, and I’ve since adapted really well. If you saw me from a distance on my walks or in the off-lead areas, you’d never even know I was blind. I do everything so confidently.
