The cutest scruffball around

Hello! I’m Spike, a fun and affectionate boy looking for a home.

No one is quite sure where I came from, but I turned up at a restaurant one day looking dishevelled and injured. It’s likely I’d been abandoned and then hit by a car. What a lot for a small boy like me to bear.

Fortunately, I was rescued and brought to the Soi Dog shelter where the vets shaved my matted fur and gave me the medical treatment I needed. My fur has gradually grown back (check out my different haircuts below!) and I’m feeling better than ever.

During my treatment, the vets also noticed I’m showing the early stages of kidney disease. I’m doing just fine for now but will need a special diet and some extra checkups in the future. Don’t worry – it’s a manageable condition, and the adoptions team will gladly tell you all about it when you enquire about me.

I hope you do enquire because I think I’d make a great addition to a family. I’m full of love and fond of walks – not to mention I’m the cutest little scruffball around!
