Somehow... I escaped death by the skin of my teeth

Every week in Thailand, unwanted puppies are removed from their mothers and dumped in dangerous areas. My name is Thora and my story of survival is extraordinary. I was dumped at a landfill site with 4 other puppies and left for dead. We were only days old, making us extremely vulnerable. I don’t know how long we laid there, unable to escape from the incoming danger, but it felt like forever. Then...something terrible happened; we were buried alive.

We cried out for help but were too weak to dig ourselves out. Somehow one of the other puppies and I managed survived. The others were not so lucky. I was given the name Thorranee, which means Earth in Thai. The lack of oxygen from being buried has caused some brain damage and the loss of my sight. However, I do not let that stop me! I am a very special girl looking for someone to love. Please don’t let me grow up in the shelter; I have so much to offer. If you can find it in your heart to give me a second chance, please email click the ‘enquire’ button!
