I’m a young boy who suffered the trauma of being hit by a car. It was a terrible experience as you can imagine but luckily someone witnessed the accident and alerted Soi Dog Foundation, who came to my rescue.
The vets in the shelter found out that my right back leg was fractured. They tried their best to save it but the damage was unrepairable, so it was decided to amputate the leg.
The surgery did a whole lot of good for me as I’m now able to move much more easily on my 3 good legs!
I’m a kind and smart boy who isn’t very assertive and likes to take things slowly and calmly. So, I’ looking for a home where my new owners will be patient and understanding with me and help me settle in at first. If you have other sweet-natured dogs in your home, I think I will like that too, because they can help me to build my confidence.
I will need some coaxing, some love and gentle pats to come out of my shell and make friends but when I do, I am a delight to be around. Despite being a bit introverted, I enjoy going for walks and would be more than happy to have some daily sightseeing sessions to keep me stimulated. And maybe even make a few new human and canine friends in time. My new owner will also need to keep an eye on my weight too, to make sure that I don’t put too much strain on my 3 legs.
I am hoping the family that I belong to is out there and will get in touch with the Adoptions Team soon! I long to start the next phase of my life as a beloved pet. What do you say? Could I be yours?
