I survived the dog meat trade and serious illness. Will you please adopt me?
Canine Justice Network has donated funds to cover my travel costs!
My name is Yola and I am a cute girl who survived the dog meat trade. I was one of the lucky ones as I was rescued from a truck filled with dogs heading for the Thai border. Instead of suffering a gruesome death I was taken to the government shelter in where I was given a safe place to stay.
The Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket, Thailand, has been my home for over 3 years now. The vets thought I was terminally ill so they didn't think I would have a chance at a home of my own. However, my condition is under control, which means I could have a number of years left. This is great news as it means I might get to experience the love of a family of my own for the first time in my life!
I am a sweet girl who keeps to myself in the enclosure. I walk well on the leash and am affectionate and friendly with the volunteers that come from all over the world to walk us. I don’t cause any trouble with the other dogs and patiently wait my turn to walk.
Please could you find it in your heart to give me a safe, loving, forever home. It would be wonderful to spend the rest of my days lapping up individual attention and walking proudly next to my own human. Please adopt me! EMAIL PartnerRescue@soidog.org for more information today!
