Lazarus was rescued from the horrific fate.

 

Lazarus was found in the Philippines during a raid on the illegal dog meat trade, carried out by Soi Dog Foundation, Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) and local authorities. His front legs had been tied behind his back and his mouth sealed shut with metal wire. He was terrified. Nearby, rescuers discovered the body of another dog in a freezer. 

 

Lazarus was saved from this horrific fate. With care and compassion, he recently took his first steps and walked into the arms of a vet.
