I came to live at the Soi Dog shelter after someone threw boiling hot water on me, leaving horrendously painful burns on my body. I wondered; how could anyone be so cruel?

Thankfully, people like you have made sure that dogs like me have somewhere to turn – the Soi Dog hospital. My healing journey was long and difficult, but I always felt safe and cared for.  

After many months of difficult treatment, including surgeries and bed rest, I was healed and welcomed as a resident at the Gill Dalley Sanctuary.   

It’s been five years and every single day I wear a big, cheeky grin and take every opportunity to say hello to my many friends around the sanctuary. I don’t much like the company of other dogs, but humans are nearly as awesome as the yummy dinners that I receive!
