I was terrified when I first arrived at the shelter. My heart was racing so fast, the vets had to sedate me just so they could examine me. I refused to eat for a long time, vomiting whenever I’d try.

My left ear had a nauseating smell from an infection. But my main problem was my poor right hind leg. I’d gotten it so severely injured, I couldn’t bear any weight on it at all. I screamed when the vets even touched it. I couldn’t help it. It just hurt so bad.

I also had a fractured right hip. It was very painful. I was lucky it hadn’t gotten dislocated.

I am worlds better now than when I arrived. I receive everything I need – food, medical treatment and especially lots of love. But as I am older and have kidney problems, I probably won’t ever be adopted, and will spend the rest of my life being well looked after here at the Soi Dog shelter.
