After I was hit by a speeding vehicle, my rescuer believed I had severe trauma to my hind end. However, as was soon revealed by the wonderful Veterinary Team at Soi Dog, I was born with congenital deformations in my hind legs. Because of this, I simply could not get out of the way fast enough to avoid being hit.

It was a terribly scary ordeal, and I am grateful that I survived. To make matters worse, I was also battling a tick infestation and a skin condition. I spent months in recovery, which may sound exhausting to you. However, for a dog like me, it was the first time in my life that I’d received proper care.   

I am now a resident of the Gill Dalley Sanctuary and share a special run with another very special dog. Every single day my adoring carer ensures I am clean, fed, and cuddled, I have regular access to wonderful veterinary care, I get enrichment from the beautiful sanctuary grounds, and so much more. I’m so very lucky.
