I came to Soi Dog after I was dumped by the people who had sworn to love me forever. Adding injury to the insult, I was attacked by dogs, leaving me with bite wounds all over my body.   

It’s frustrating being misunderstood. People take one look at me and expect I’m a cuddly teddy bear, when I’m really more of a lion - fitting because I think I’m more cat than dog. I don’t like being stroked and I’d rather you gave me my space, but does that make me less deserving of happiness?  

Here at the Gill Dalley Sanctuary I was given a chance at a happy life. There are people who understand me and take good care of me. And beautiful grounds to explore and sniff, which is my favourite thing to do.
