Cottonyen yearns for a home of her own

Hi! I’m Cottonyen, a cautious, gentle and shy girl looking for a home.

I was about four months old when one of Soi Dog’s mobile teams found me and my siblings living on the streets. We were sick and struggling to survive, so they brought us to the shelter for the treatment and safety we needed. The shelter has been my home for many years now, but I'd love nothing more than to find a family of my own.

I can be quite shy when I first meet new people, especially in busy environments or when there are lots of other dogs around. However, if you are patient and spend time with me in a calm, quiet space, my sweet personality starts to shine through. Once I feel safe, I’ll gently approach for cuddles and enjoy spending time by your side.

Those who know me best describe me as a delicate, gentle soul with a very big heart. I may not be the first dog to run up and say hello, but I form meaningful connections with people in time. I've made lots of progress with the help of the behaviour team, and I'd love to continue building my confidence in a loving home.

If I sound like a good fit for your family, or you’d like to learn some more about me, please enquire.
