Meet Otty
Story
Otty was almost five months old when she arrived at Soi Dog Foundation's hospital to be treated for injuries suffered from a road traffic accident. Otty underwent surgical procedures for fractures in her right hindlimb and under the supportive care and treatment from the nursing staff, including cage rest and hydrotherapy, she fully recovered from her injuries. Today, Otty is a confident, friendly dog who is ready to find her forever home!
In the run
- Excited and jumps on visitors, gently mouthing and running back and forth before calming down.
- Confident, friendly and can be petted (body relaxed, mouth open, tail up and wagging).
- Gets along with the other dogs, but can sometimes bully less confident dogs.
Outside
- Walks confidently pulling the lead and explores everywhere including busy/noisy areas.
- Friendly with strangers and would immediately approach to greet them.
- Does not have any issues walking past other dogs.
Off lead
- Confidently explored the surroundings.
- Enjoyed running around and rolling in the grass.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
