Meet Sassadee
Story
Sassadee was five years old old when he arrived at Soi Dog Foundation after being discovered with large lacerated wounds on his right forelimb and left abdomen. With daily wound care and intensive supportive treatment from the hospital nursing staff, Sassadee's wounds completely healed, leaving behind large scars on his right forelimb and left abdomen. He is ready to find her forever home!
In the run
- Excited, confident, friendly and approaches visitors.
- Loves to be petted (tail up and wagging).
- Does not have any issues with the other dogs.
Outside
- Interested to go outside and easy to put on lead.
- Walks confidently and explores everywhere but was a little unsure and nervous in busy/noisy areas.
- Calmly walks past other dogs and will show some interest but not in aggressive manner.
Off lead
- Explores the surroundings confidently.
- Not interested in playing with toys.
- Approachable and likes to be petted.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
