Meet Theron
Hi! I’m Theron, a calm, confident, friendly and independent boy looking for a home.
I arrived at Soi Dog when I was two years old after being involved in a road traffic accident that left me unable to stand. Among my injuries were fractures, a ruptured liver and abdominal trauma. At the hospital, I got the life-saving treatment I needed and ultimately recovered well. The accident has had some longer-lasting effects, like a decreased range of motion in my hips, but this doesn't stop me from living life to the fullest.
You might not be able to tell from my photos, but I'm a big boy, weighing in at around 27kg! You could definitely describe me as a gentle giant. When we first meet, I will be confident, friendly and will approach. Outside, I walk calmly and confidently everywhere, including busy and noisy areas. I show some interest when I see other dogs but have no problems walking past them. In the off-lead areas, I like to sniff around independently and eat the grass. I also like to go in the shelter pool. I will approach when called as I enjoy being petted.
Soi Dog suspects I may have had a home in the past. However, your home will be new and strange for me at first – but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your love and guidance!
If I sound like a good fit for your family, or you’d like to learn some more about me, please enquire.
