Elizabeth Neubrand
Elizabeth has always had a fierce passion for helping animals. As a child, she would write letters bringing attention to the mistreatment of animals. Over the years, her advocacy efforts continued through fostering and volunteerism. For Elizabeth, traveling throughout the world usually leads to rescuing local dogs and cats. In fact, this is exactly how she met John Dalley 15 years ago while rescuing kittens on her honeymoon in Phuket. As a Thai-American, serving on the Soi Dog Foundation USA Board allows Elizabeth to continue her dedication for helping dogs and cats in Thailand while living in San Diego, California.
Her professional path has always shown a devotion towards helping others and the planet. First, as an elementary school teacher and professor of Child Development and, later, working in both the non-profit and private sectors as Development Director for Habitat for Humanity and as Communications Manager for Waste Management, Inc. where she promoted initiatives to reducing waste and developing renewable energy sources.
These experiences led her to create NeuBrand Consulting, Inc., which helps companies, and foundations turn acts of philanthropy into focused and fulfilling gifts by connecting them with the charities and causes they care about most. Elizabeth has worked closely with generous organizations such as the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, SONY Foundation, UC San Diego Foundation, Chef Works, Inc., and the Padres Foundation.
Elizabeth, her husband and two young boys are all dedicated to making the world a safer place for vulnerable animals. Their family also includes two amazing rescue dogs and two adorable rescue cats.
