Meet Blacknemo
Story
Blacknemo was a four month old puppy when he and his sister arrived to Soi Dog Foundation after being found in a rubber plantation, weak and unable to stand. Blacknemo has lived at the shelter for most of his life and is ready to find his forever home!
In the run
- Confident, excited and friendly with visitors.
- Gets along with the other dogs.
Outside
- Confident outside when walking, likes to sniff and explore calmly.
- Walks everywhere, no problem passing strangers or other dogs.
Off lead
- Explores the surroundings confidently and calmly.
- Approaches for attention and not interested in playing with toys.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
