Hi! I’m Dancer, an active, energetic and friendly girl looking for a home.
I’ve lived at the Soi Dog shelter for near enough my entire life, arriving as a small puppy who’d been abandoned in a box alongside my eight other siblings. (Scroll to the end of the photo carousel above to see me back then, looking a bit like Dobby the elf!)
My brothers, sisters and I were all named after Santa’s reindeer. The staff couldn’t have known it at the time, but ‘Dancer’ was the right choice for me as I really do have the moves! I wiggle when I walk, and I almost pirouette in excitement when I say hello to people.
I can be a little jumpy sometimes on account of my difficult start to life. But generally speaking, I’m a happy and energetic girl who enjoys making friends and who gets very excited for her walks.
All of my siblings have been adopted now, and I’m really hoping it’s my turn soon. Please enquire today so I can start wiggling my way to you!

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
