Meet Duangcheewan
Story
Duangcheewan arrived to Soi Dog Foundation's hospital after being involved in a suspected road traffic accident that caused a wound on his left hind leg and unable to walk. With supportive care from the nursing staff, Duangcheewan recovered from his injuries and is ready to find his forever home!
In the run
- Calm and friendly but does not immediately approach visitors.
- Get along with the other dogs in the run and does not fight, prefers to be peaceful.
Note: Separated during meals to eat alone.
Outside
- Relaxed and likes to walk.
- Explores and sniffs calmly and confidently everywhere, not bothered by noise or busy areas.
- No issues walking past other dogs.
Off lead
- Explores surroundings calmly and with confidence.
- Would show interest and approach to be petted.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
