Meet Gamyan
Hi! I’m Gamyan, a confident, friendly and playful boy looking for a home.
I was five years old when a kind local who was caring for me after I had been abandoned by my owner brought me to Soi Dog Foundation. I'd developed cherry eye in both eyes, which the veterinary team successfully performed surgery to reverse. Sadly, my left eye had some long-lasting damage from the condition, and a second surgery was performed to remove it.
When we first meet, I will be confident, friendly and will approach. I like to go outside and walk confidently everywhere, including busy and noisy areas. I like to sniff and explore the surroundings. In the off-lead areas, I approach when called and like receiving affection. You may even get a lick from me.
I dream of having a home and a family again. It may take a little time for me to settle in, but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your love and guidance!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
