Meet Haruno
Hi! I’m Haruno, an active, energetic and friendly girl looking for a home.
I was found outside a courthouse wearing a collar, leading people to believe that my owner had left me behind after being imprisoned. I was still just a puppy – not even a year old. Without anyone to care for me, I became lethargic, weak and refused to eat for days. Fortunately, someone called for help, and I was brought to Soi Dog for safety.
Around the shelter, I’m recognisable by my fluffy ears – the fluffiest in the business! But while my cute looks might catch people’s attention, it’s my lively personality that really wins them over. I have all the curiosity and energy you’d expect from a young dog. I want to see, sniff and investigate everything around me, and there’s always something new to discover! I’m a total water baby, too, and love splashing around in the shelter pool.
I’m looking for a home where I can stay active, learn and experience plenty of new things. I can be selective with other dogs and may become very focused on them during walks, so I’ll need someone who can help me navigate these encounters and understand my needs.
I’ve got my whole life ahead of me, and I’m ready to fill it with adventures. Could you be the person I get to share them with?
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
