Kasanaka is ready for cuddles

Hi! I’m Kasanaka, an affectionate, confident and friendly girl looking for a home.

I’m named after a Thai TV drama series – and my life has certainly been on the dramatic side! While living as a homeless dog in Thailand, I became caught in a wire snare intended for trapping wildlife. The wire wrapped painfully tight around my left front leg and cut off circulation, causing irreversible damage. It’s also clear that I had multiple litters during my time on the streets.

At the Soi Dog shelter, my leg had to be urgently amputated to save my life. Fortunately, I’ve adapted well to this big change. Despite being on three legs, I move with surprising agility and confidence and enjoy my walks and playtime.

I’m a real lover girl, as you can tell from my photos where I’m snuggling with my carer and Soi Dog’s CEO. And let me tell you – this is just the start of it! Anyone who comes to visit my enclosure or take me out for a walk gets a signature Kasanaka cuddles. It’s just my nature.

I’d love to cuddle with a family of my own, so if my sweet personality and cute forehead wrinkles have caught your attention, please enquire today!
