Hi! I’m Nancy, a confident, friendly and sociable girl looking for a home.
For the first six months of my life, I lived on the streets of a place called Surat Thani. I was getting by okay there, until one day when I was injured in a hit and run. As fate would have it, Soi Dog had a mobile team operating in the area, and their staff transported over 200 kilometres to their shelter in Phuket for urgent treatment, including surgery on my hind legs and hips which were fractured in multiple places.
I’m long recovered now and get about just fine – enjoying my walks around the shelter and my time playing off lead. I’ll just need my future family to make sure I maintain a healthy weight and don’t overexert myself!
While I may not be somebody’s hiking companion, I will absolutely be their cuddle buddy and loyal friend. That’s just the kind of sweet girl I am.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
