Meet Narngchee
Hi! I’m Narngchee, a calm, gentle and independent girl looking for a home.
I was about four years old when I arrived at Soi Dog Foundation after a tourist noticed issues with my eyes. I was examined by the vet team and determined to have left eye globe atrophy and blindness. Fortunately for me, there was no infection and has been no discomfort thus further treatment was not required. I recovered well, and life at the shelter is all I've known ever since.
I like my quiet space and not to be bothered so when we first meet please understand if I do not show interest. I like my independence and being alone. When I'm outside, I will confidently walk everywhere including noisy and busy areas. I like to take my time to explore, sniff and roll around in the grass. I have no issues walking past other dogs or strangers. In the off-lead areas, I am calm and approachable. I explore the surroundings with confidence and like to roll around in the grass.
As I've never lived inside a home before, everything will be new and strange at first, but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your love and guidance!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
