Meet Panwad
Hi! I’m Panwad, a calm, gentle and independent girl looking for a home.
I was two years old when I arrived at Soi Dog. In a truly shocking turn of events, I was found poisoned along with six other dogs in my community. We were rushed to the shelter just in time for the vets to provide us with the urgent treatment we needed to survive. For safety, it was decided we should stay here and get the chance to find homes.
During my treatment, the vets noticed I’m showing the early stages of kidney disease. I’m doing just fine for now but will need a special diet and some extra checkups in the future. Don’t worry – it’s a manageable condition, and the adoptions team will gladly tell you all about it when you enquire about me!
Inside my enclosure, I'm calm and confident, gently approaching visitors and charming them with my sweet smile and unique fur. I get along with the other dogs there but prefer to spend time by myself. I also like to go outside and explore my surroundings, taking my time to sniff and investigate. I'm not so interested in strangers or other dogs and will easily walk past them.
As I've never lived inside a proper home before, everything will be new and strange at first, but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your love and guidance!
If I sound like a good fit for your family, or you’d like to learn some more about me, please enquire.
