Hi! I’m Harmony, an energetic, friendly and playful girl looking for a home.
As you may have noticed, I’m not the kind of rescue dog you typically find at Soi Dog. While most of my shelter mates are mixed breeds, I’m a Golden Retriever.
I was rescued after being abandoned by my previous owner. I didn’t deserve what happened to me – but despite it all, I’ve held onto my good nature and trust in people. While I love making human friends, I’m really not a fan of other dogs, so I’m looking for a home where I can be the one and only.
True to my breed, I’m affectionate, intelligent and full of energy and confidence. I love splashing in the pool, and I have a serious soft spot for tennis balls – in case you hadn’t noticed from my photos! I could chase them all day.
I’m looking for a family who have lots of their love and time to give me. A home with no other dogs, some space to play and someone who understands the needs of a Retriever like me. If you think we could live in harmony together, please enquire today!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
