Banthai is a bonny Thai girl

My personality: Cautious when meeting people, skittish when walking in noisy areas, overwhelmed by shelter environment.

My story: I was only a few months old when I was brought to one of Soi Dog's mobile sterilisation units. The vet on duty noticed that my gums were pale and I was clearly unwell so they brought me to the shelter for treatment and care. As a puppy living on the streets of Phuke Island I was surrounded by dangers and challenges. These included territorial packs of dogs, heavy traffic and unfriendly people. I was so relieved to have a safe palce to stay and food to eat every day. The bonus is having volunteers walk me and give me attention. 

My needs: I am a tentative girl who will need time and patience as I adjust to your world. Please let me  adjust at my own pace with your support and kindness. I am skittish when walking in noisy areas and when meeting unfamiliar dogs. I need a calm, quiet home with a gradual introduction to resident dogs if you have any.
