These Boots were made for adoptin’!

My personality: Independent and sensitive yet gentle and calm.

My story: I used to live on a beach in the south of Phuket where lots of local people knew and cared for me. However, they started to worry about my safety after I began to be bullied by other dogs in the area. One day, in August 2020, I was attacked quite badly, and a kind man called Soi Dog for help. I recovered well but, as it was unsafe for me to return to my territory, it was decided that I would stay here at the shelter until I could find a home of my own.

My needs: Understandably, I can be a bit wary of other dogs and would therefore prefer to be my family’s one and only to start off with. I may be able to live with another canine friend after I've had a chance to settle in though. I would also prefer a home without younger children as, although I'm a fairly confident boy nowadays, I'm still sensitive to new situations. Aside from that, I'm simply looking for a family who wants a gentle dog to go for strolls around the neighbourhood with before going home and relaxing.
