Blind dogs see with their hearts

My personality: Gentle, calm, friendly.

My story: For over six years, I was a street dog being fed and cared for by some kind locals. I felt safe and happy in my territory. But that changed dramatically one day when someone decided I was a nuisance and slashed me on my side with a knife. I was brought to Soi Dog where the vets were able to repair my wound with surgery. Sadly, though, they also had to remove both of my eyes as my vision was greatly impaired and I was in a lot of pain.

My needs: As you can tell from my photos, I've overcome the cruelty of my ordeal and have also adapted very well to life without vision. In fact, I’d say I’m just as adventurous as I always was! Walks, playtime and belly rubs are all still very much on the cards for me, and I enjoy them like any other dog would. An easygoing girl, I'm happy to be your one and only or I can be the next member of your pack. As long as I have a family to cuddle up on the couch with when evening comes, I'll be a very happy dog indeed.
