Hello there, my name is Sheeran and I am a beautiful golden ginger boy who is almost 2 years old.

My coat is long and I have gorgeous eyes that truly make me a stunning ‘street’ dog!

That’s right, I was living on the streets, minding my own business, when a car came out of nowhere and knocked me down.  Following the road traffic accident, the vet found that I was suffering from a subluxation of the right sacroiliac joint, a right femoral head fracture, a left acetabular fracture with hip luxation and a left ischium fracture. I have recovered well and I enjoy gentle walks. I have a slightly abnormal gait and my hips produce a crepitus sound.  If you are interested in adopting me the vets here can provide you with more information about my health and can send you my xrays.

My road to recovery was very long and included lots of pain relief and cage rest followed by physio-therapy.

But now I’m able to stand on my own two – er, four – legs and I'm enjoying my life again. Living inside a shelter isn’t my idea of ‘home’ so will you be that perfect partner, who is happy to share your home with me?

While I may not ever be able to run far and fast or learn agility tricks due to my past injuries, I have a calm, relaxed personality with a ‘just-perfect’ energy level.

I dream of a calm home with a family (one person or more) who can take me on short walks around the neighborhood or on a country walk. Chilling in a grassy backyard would be great too! Someone who will understand my needs and love me despite my past injuries.

I love being around people and would be more than happy to be around other pets in your life, too. Will you give me the chance to live in a real home and be your best friend for life?
