I’ve worked hard to become the purrfect kitty for you!

I have to say I do look a bit startled in these photos, but please don’t let that dishearten you from reading on!

My name is Wowone, and I was only three months old when I was abandoned outside the Soi Dog hospital with four other felines: Wowtwo, Wowthree, Wowfour and – you guessed it – Wowfive. We were a mixture of ages and had a mixture of illnesses. Usually in cases like this, at least one or two of us wouldn’t have made it, but the Wow family is made of tough stuff, and all five of us survived.

I had a touch of cat flu and an eye infection, which were easily treated, but it was my fear of people that was less straightforward to cure. A tough start to life left me and my siblings with little confidence and wary of new people.

My dark fur and timid nature meant that I went unnoticed for a long time. Making great first impressions clearly wasn’t the Wow family's forte! However, I have worked on my shyness around people, and now I’m even starting to find them quite comforting.

You can imagine the surprise when staff who knew me when I first arrived discover that the black kitty nuzzling their arms and legs is me. The same kitty who used to run away from people is now approaching them and allowing affection.

I am looking for a home that can offer me a quiet start when I arrive and a slow build-up to adventures. I can be with other kitties too, so I’d be a great addition to your current family. If you decide to adopt me (which I hope you do), I promise you will find an exceptional companion in me.
