Luxor has never had the luxury of a home

My personality: Friendly, charming, sweet-natured, strong.

My story: Before I came to Soi Dog in November 2020, my life on the streets actually wasn't too bad. I was a popular boy, and there were lots of people feeding and caring for me. But life can change in an instant, and I learnt that the hard way when I was hit by a car. The impact dislocated my right hip and left me limping badly. The good thing about having so many carers and feeders meant I got help quickly, though the damage had already been done, and my right hind leg had to be amputated. It’s tough to survive on the streets with a disability, so it was decided I should stay at the Soi Dog shelter until I could find a home.

My needs: The vets say I should adhere to a light exercise regime on account of my missing leg, but that doesn’t mean I can’t jump up to greet people, go for nice walks or play – and thank goodness for that because I love to do all of those things! As you might be able to tell from my handsome face, I’m part bull breed which means there are some countries I can’t fly to due to breed regulations; however, I can happily join a home in the USA or here in Thailand. It would be best if I’m the only dog in the home, though, as my jealous side sometimes gets the better of me when I have to share my affection with other dogs. But don’t worry. I’m a big boy with a big presence, so I’ll be sure to make it feel like a full house.
