I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after my owner cruelly abandoned me in the house he had moved out of. I was traumatised and scared and sadly, I showed this to the Soi Dog humans by being very angry and trying to attack all the time. But they did not give up on me and, thanks to people like you, they were able to take me in and work with me.
There are some people here called behaviourists and they spend a lot of time socialising me and teaching me to understand what love from a human looks like. I have never had this before and it will take me some time to learn to trust again.
My current temperament means I cannot mix with other dogs or anyone I don’t know. The behaviourist who is working closely with me is the only one who can walk me every day. I am a pitbull-mix dog and therefore not allowed to travel to certain countries. This, coupled with my lack of trust in humans, means it will take me longer to find my forever home. Will you please be a friend to me and sponsor my ongoing care and rehabilitation until then?
